Worried? Try The Antidote

WORRIED? The word "worry" is from an ancient anglo-saxon word: "wyrgan" which means to strangle. Worrying can strangle faith and hope. Charles Simpson once said: "Anxiety is a mild case of atheism."

“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes." Matt. 6:34 (The Message)

Perfect submission, all is at rest,
I in my Savior am happy and blest,
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

  1. WOW! I am walking thru a medical situation right now and I must admit there is some worry. The docs have said that even if I have the surgery, I will still have to have PT and pain management. The pain management doc said that I will have pain the rest of my life, but it will be controllable. But I am constantly telling myself that I need to believe the report of the Lord, that I am healed. I am believing for my healing! When I stay focused on that the worry melts away. Jesus is my healer. No matter what the docs say - Jesus can make me whole and I won't have to deal with pain the rest of my life! Please pray with me and believe with me for my healing!
